The facts they don't want you to know about the supposed miraculous number 19 of the Quran...
Why did God never speak directly to Muhammad or do miracles through him as He did with all His other prophets and apostles?
Necessary questions for muslims
How can Melchisedek be eternal, having no parents, and not be God?
Is the Father greater than the Son?
OF COURSE HE IS!! It couldn’t be any other way!!
Muslims chant this question, because they don’t even think of what they are actually asking, supposedly to trap us... In their confused mind, due to Islamist brain washing, they think that because Jesus is considered the Son of God, He is therefore inferior to God and therefore cannot be God. So for them, it’s 1 + 5 = 2 + 9…. -No sense at all.
Let’s see the verse:
John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you.
If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
Before elaborating on this, something not to be overlooked is that these same words of Jesus make clear that while He is referring to God the Father, He is claiming that He is His literal Son(!!), otherwise a mere human would never make such a claim!
But let’s get into the verse.
Indeed, other than what I previously pointed out, this verse does not say anything else amazing. That is, it is a known fact, that every father is greater than his son! So by saying this, He meant to point out something special here and that is, because He was His Father’s Son and had the same eternal nature as the Father, as a Person He was under the hierarchy of the Father.
§It was the Son that was in the Father and came out of Him, was given birth to, in a supernatural state and dimension, not the opposite. He was the One that transitioned from being the Logos (Word) to also becoming the only begotten Son! Being a Son under the control of the Father, makes Him inferior in Nature, even though we do not know all the details of this since those go beyond our physics.
§It was the Son that was sent to be born here among us, that lived here 33 years with a human nature, crucified on a cross and sacrificed Himself for us, not the Father.
§It was the Son that here on earth, obeyed the Father fully, not the opposite.
§It IS the Son that is the Mediator and High Priest to the Father, not the opposite.
§It is the Son that is the way to the Father, not the opposite.
But does this say anything against the Son being God in nature? OF COURSE NOT, on the contrary!! You and you children are both human in nature, but you are greater than them in hierarchy and they are inferior to you as a role, that is, their life comes from you, you have authority over them, they look up to you, they obey and respect you. BUT, you both have the same nature even though naturally you as a father are stronger than your son, at least until he grows up
Elsewhere, Jesus said He was One with Father:
John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
This meant that even as a human on earth:
1) He was that united in purpose, with the Father,
2) that His Personality and the Father's Personality were in agreement.
Conclusion: The Father is greater than the Son inferior than the Father in hierarchy, but this says nothing against the Son naturally having the same Nature as His Father, making Him part of the Deity!
PS. 1) This is what the Bible teaches, don’t spread lies in regards to it.
2) If you read the texts in the links, you will have the clearest picture of Christianity, one that the Devil tries to destroy through a 800 year later Islam….
